Rowan Milne, owner of Row 66 Ltd in Edinburgh has beaten competition from all over the UK and Ireland to win the prestigious GLammies by Great Lengths award.

Now in its 10th year, the GLammies by Great Lengths 2021/22 recognise the UK and Ireland’s most talented extensionists and celebrate the craft, creativity and business of hair extensions.

Held on Monday 21st March, the glittering event took place at The Steel Yard in London’s buzzy City district and saw over 150 guests in attendance. Judged by some of the industry’s most respected names, as well as editors from the hairdressing press, the black tie evening was hosted by How To Cut It podcast founder Dom Lehane and included a drinks reception, three-course dinner and after party.

In addition to a glittering GLammies trophy, Rowan Milne received tickets for a tour of the Great Lengths production factory in Rome, with two nights five-star accommodation, meals and internal transfers for two people as part of the prize package.

‘The GLammies by Great Lengths celebrate the very best extensionists working in our incredible industry’ says Joscelin McCourt, HB Collective CEO (home of Great Lengths hair extensions). ‘In winning this award, Rowan has demonstrated creativity, passion and precision, as well as a talent for her craft which is unparalleled. Rowan should feel incredibly proud to be recognised for all she has achieved in reaching this level.’

‘Winning a trophy at the GLammies is a dream come true’ says Rowan ‘Extensions are my passion and I’ve worked hard to get to this point in my career. There are so many incredibly talented people working in this industry, so to be named as a winner is a huge honour. I’m delighted to be bringing this trophy home to Edinburgh.’
